Jing Dunquan, vice-chairman of China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF), met with a delegation from the Japan-China Friendship Association headed by its vice-chairman, Sakai Tetsuo on April 27.

Jing extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He said that this year marked the 40th anniversary of the Treaty of Peace and Friendship between China and Japan.
The China-Japan relationship is currently taking a positive direction and I hope that CSCLF and the Japan-China Friendship Association can facilitate communication and cooperation between our two countries, he said.
Sakai Tetsuo said he was glad to be in China again and expressed his hopes of strengthening ties with CSCLF and helping develop the China-Japan relationship.
Chen Aiming, head of the CSCLF International Department, took part in the meeting. The delegation also visited Soong Ching Ling Science and Culture Center for Young People before the meeting.
