China Soong Ching Ling Science and Culture Center for Young People， an organization affiliated with China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF)， signed a cooperation framework agreement with the Beijing Municipal Education Commission， on May 28， to jointly construct a research center on curriculum design for Beijing middle and primary school students.

During the ceremony， Wang said that one of the three missions of CSCLF was to care for the next generation and improve the welfare of the teenagers. He stressed that CSCLF should follow the guidelines of the report to the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China， and the instructions given by President Xi Jinping to develop education.
“CSCLF‘s establishing a partnership with Beijing Municipal Education Commission not only accords with the trends of the time but also meets the expectations of people on education，” said Wang， “both sides should strengthen the exchanges and cooperation， and carry out the work of building the research center in a down-to-earth manner.”

Wang Ning extolled CSCLF’s proactive manner of seeking for a partnership with Beijing Municipal Education Commission. He regarded the cooperation between the two sides as an innovative measure to deepen the comprehensive education reform， and vowed that Beijing Municipal Government would provide any necessary support.

In recent years， the local education authorities in Beijing have made a lot of efforts to provide abundant and diversified educational resources for students. Since 2008， when the city called on students to learn by taking part in social activities， more than 1，000 organizations have registered as cooperative partners to provide necessary support.
China Soong Ching Ling Science and Culture Center for Young People is a national-level education base supported by the central government finance. It is designed to be a venue integrating various functions for students engaging in diversified activities. The center will hold activities featuring science education and traditional culture， international and domestic exchanges and other extracurricular programs.

On behalf of the two parties， Liu Yuhui， director of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission， and Guo Xinbao， director of the China Soong Ching Ling Science and Culture Center for Young People， signed the cooperative framework deal.
The research center on curriculum design for Beijing middle and primary school students will employ educational professionals， and operate five education research bases in the five counties and districts of the city - - Dongcheng， Haidian， Fengtai， Shijingshan and Mentougou.
Representatives from both sides award certificates to professionals who have offered their experience and wisdom for the building of the research center.
